America is under attack, not from Russia, not from China, not from Iran or North Korea, America is falling prey to the cultural rot that threatens to destroy this nation. The communist Left and all its sympathizers are unceasingly working to topple the very foundations that have made this country a Shining City on a Hill. Satan is their inspiration. A quick check of the landscape and you’ll see it too. It’s hard to miss.
The Respect for Marriage Act does anything but respect marriage. It marginalizes it. The AP described the recent event on the South Lawn of the White House during which the President signed the act into law as a “joyful ceremony. “Vice President Harris recalled officiating at a lesbian wedding in San Francisco. Lawmakers from both parties attended, reflecting, as the AP put it “the growing acceptance of same-sex unions.“Just who has accepted homosexual unions? The AP seems to think an increasing number of Americans are fine with gay marriage. Maybe they are. Fewer and fewer Americans identify as Christian; therein lies the problem.
In lending his Presidential John Hancock to the Respect for Marriage Act, Joe Biden proclaimed, “the new law and the love it defends strike a blow against hate in all its forms. “As Christians we are instructed to hate that which is evil and love that which is good. We should hate the sin and love the sinner.
Despite what the dominant media culture is force-feeding us and regardless of how our public schools are indoctrinating our children into believing one’s sexuality is “fluid,“God, in His Word, is clear on the definition of marriage: it is a union between one man and one woman. Period. It is an institution created for the rearing of children.
To curry favor with the LGBTQ crowd Biden also invited a drag queen, Marti Cummings, who performs for children. This is part of what Cummings posted on twitter: “To be a non-binary drag artist invited to the White House is something I never imagined would happen.” It wouldn’t have happened if we had a president who respected the office.In addition to having multiple male sex partners, Marti also finds time to read to children at libraries, in what he describes as “family-friendly events.” “I love doing Drag Story Hour. Despite what conservatives say, this family friendly event is a way to spread joy, teach acceptance and love,” is what he wrote on Instagram.
Another non-binary drag queen who had been working in a nuclear waste job in Biden's Department of Energy has been charged with felony theft after he allegedly stole a bag from the baggage claim at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
Sam Brinton, whose full title was as the DOE's Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Office of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition, is accused of pilfering the bag in September. Brinton is currently on a leave of absence from his DOE job.
If found guilty he could face five years in jail, a $10,000 fine, or both. Brinton, after all, is certainly the kind of person you’d want in charge of nuclear rods.
This is what happens when you hire someone based on their sexuality identity. But the Left is obsessed not with the content of one’s character, but rather on one’s outward appearance. The intense focus on race, ethnicity or sexuality is not meant, as Biden says, to “strike a blow against hate in all its forms,“ it’s intended to further divide us.
Our nation is far from the ideal put forth by John Winthrop in his famous 1630 sermon with its proclamation that “we shall be as a city upon a hill.”
God will not be mocked. There is only so much sin that He will allow before He returns to judge the world. How can His return not be imminent?
