No Kings, No Brains

by Ted Flint

This past weekend there were “No Kings” rallies held across the nation and the world, even in England, where they actually have kings. If America were truly led by a monarchy, would these Bolsheviks in BMW’s be allowed to even protest? Many of these old commies gathered Saturday at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul to protest the Administration’s immigration policies. People such as Mark Ruffalo, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jamie Lee Curtis, Glenn Close, and even Jane Fonda. Good old “Hanoi Jane.” It was like traveling through a time machine to 1968. Joan Baez emerged from some coffeehouse to lend her voice, as did Bruce Springsteen. I used to like “The Boss,” who’s body of work is impressive. As of late, he comes off as a bitter old has-been who is consumed by Trump Derangement Syndrome. The Boss may have given us “Born to Run,” but one thing he was not born to do is think.

A few of these morons were out and about in several locations across the capital region, each for different reasons, but united in their disdain for President Trump and the rule of law. What specifically are they protesting? A leader with the courage to enforce federal immigration law? A president who understands America has clearly defined borders, which are essential for a sovereign nation?

Of course, they are fortunate to live in a country that has a constitution that protects their freedom to assemble for a redress of their grievances, however trivial and nonsensical.
