The Left’s hatred for Jews and the State of Israel could not be more evident. Look at the way in which much of the world has reacted to Hamas’ attacks on Israel. There have been rallies in support of Hamas’ efforts, especially here at home. Dearborn, Michigan was home to a “Free Palestine” rally in which elected officials and community organizations from across the Detroit area cheered Hamas for its slaughter of innocent Israelis and chanted for Israel’s destruction. Here’s a sample of a few of the headlines in this week’s New York Post: “NYU law student who cheered Hamas attack ‘will continue to speak out’ despite backlash,” “Columbia University refuses to condemn prof who called Hamas attack ‘awesome,’ and “Cornell history professor calls Hamas terror attack ‘exhilarating’ and ‘exciting.’
Just how much influence does Hamas have on American university campuses? A new video released by the RAIR Foundation uncovers the influence operation that the Middle East terror organization has on American university campuses.
The foundation reports, "The Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) is Hamas on Campus. An Islamic terrorist organization dedicated to wiping Israel off the map. The SJP was created to be Hamas on Campus to and work in tandem with the Muslim Brotherhood proxy, the Muslim Students Association (MSA).
There is a video on the Foundation’s website connecting these two modern-day student organizations to their founders, radicals who have advocated for the destruction of Israel and the death of all Jews. Among the instigators of the student groups are those who have helped found al-Qaida, and those who continue to issue threats such as, "Your days are numbered" to Israelis. The organizations have metastasized like cancer, spreading from campus to campus, so that there are now dozens of radical Islamist influence campaigns on campuses across North America.
Members of “The Squad,’ including terrorist-sympathizing Rashida Tliab and her fellow democratic congresswoman, Ilhan Omar, have taken issue with President Biden’s public support of Israel. They also continue to spread the lie that Israel bombed a hospital in Gaza resulting in dozens of casualties. That attack was the result of a misfire from a rocket barrage set off by Islamic Jihad.
There is a nexus between the communist Left and radical Islam. They are working for the same goal: the destruction of Israel and the West. There is really nothing new about their aim, it has been decades in the making, but most Americans have been oblivious to the inexorable march of totalitarianism. There is also a report that Hamas used weapons from North Korea in its latest attack. Despite what our mainstream media is peddling to its dwindling American audience, Hamas does not want peace, or a two-state solution – they want to exterminate the Jews. It’s in their charter.
There were several violent attacks around the world immediately after Hamas terrorists paraglided into the Gaza strip. The first victim, an employee of the Israeli embassy in Beijing, was knifed in broad daylight and taken to a hospital. The second attack, which killed at least one man, happened in France where local media reported that the assailant—who was known to the authorities as an Islamist radical—shouted “Allahu Akbar” during an attack on multiple people at a school.
October 7 was the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust. Most of the 1,400 killed lost their lives in the initial attack, many in the most barbaric fashion; some slaughtered in their beds, some burned alive, others, including babies, were decapitated.
And of course, the fellow travelers in the arts community cannot resist condemning Israel for the carnage perpetrated by Islamofacists. An open letter signed by over 2,000 artists, actors and musicians in the UK, calls for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and for “our governments to end their military and political support for Israel’s actions. “The letter, penned by Artists for Palestine UK, conspicuously omitted the atrocities carried out by Hamas. It’s not surprising that Jew-haters on the Left seek to prevent Israel from protecting itself from people dedicated to their destruction.
Several Bible scholars believe these latest attacks may usher in Armageddon. The holy scriptures are clear as to how that ends for those who “curse Israel.”
Our Commander-In-Chief claims the U.S. “has Israel’s back.” Let’s hope so. Time will tell if his policies help lead to a peaceful resolution or to further violence against our only true ally in the region.
