The PAC Perspective by Ted Flint
In the days following the Charlie Kirk assassination, Americans have had a front row seat to the anger and vitriol displayed by the Left. As horrible as his killing was, the response to his murder from nearly half the country is almost as sickening. Jimmy Kimmel isn’t worth the time or the space for comment.
Minnesota Congresswoman Ilan Omar may have topped her socialist brethren when she labeled Charlie Kirk “a reprehensible human being.” Something no doubt about which she knows. Here are a few examples of why Congresswoman Nancy Mace introduced a resolution to have Omar censured and removed from all her committee assignments. On September 11(coincidence?) in a Town Hall interview Omar smeared Kirk and implied he was to blame for his own murder. September 12, she reposted a video on X maligning Kirk’s character and those mourning his death: “Before Kirk’s body was cold, the Far Right propped his corpse up as a cudgel for their Holy War. Don’t be fooled, these people don’t give a single s- - t about Charlie Kirk, they are just using his death to further their Christo-fascist agenda. He enacted his political agenda by preying on weak-minded people. He took complex socio-economic issues (complex for her maybe) and simplified them by pointing fingers at “out” groups demonizing those groups and siccing his massive following on them.” Omar then went on to label Kirk “a sarcastic terrorist and an adamant transphobe” who denied the genocide happening in Palestine, believed in the subjugation of women, and in his final words was spewing racist dog whistles. She then likened Kirk to Dr. Frankenstein and said, “his monsters shot him through the neck.” On that last point she is right, he was shot by a monster, one radicalized by Antifa and in a sexual relationship with his transgender boyfriend.
You can understand why Kirk was a threat to the communist Left and the Master they serve. His was a life devoted to Jesus Christ and spreading the Gospel message.
The Left is demonic. The media is trying to downplay the transgender angle to recent mass shootings. May 2019, Alec McKinney, 16 years of age, was one of the two shooters in the 2019 STEM School Highlands Ranch attack. McKinney was born female but was “transitioning” and asked to be referred to as male during the investigation.
On November 19, 20, 2022, Anderson Lee Aldrich, opened fire in the Club Q nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado, killing five. Aldrich identified as “non-binary.”
March 27, 2023, Audrey Hale, who identified as “transgender” shot to death six people, including three students, at the Covenant School, a private Christian school in Nashville.
January 4, 2024, Dylan Butler, who, in social media posts identified as “gender fluid” opened fire on 50 students and staff at a school in Perry, Iowa. Two people had their lives cut short.
August 27, during a mass at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, 23-year-old Robin Westman, a former student, armed with a rifle, pistol, and shotgun, railed off more than a hundred rounds through the windows, killing two children, ages 8 and 10 and injuring 21 others.
Many of those targeted in several of these attacks, including Kirk, were Christian. Coincidence? Christians know it is not. The Darkness hates the Light.
As a Christian blogger pointed out: Satan tried to stop the church by killing Stephen, but instead the Gospel continued to grow, entering new regions, and multiplying. Charlie Kirk was martyred for a cause. His death may usher in another Great Awakening. Ilan Omar may describe it as Christo-Fascists pursuing an agenda, but it is something much larger.
As for those who celebrate Kirk’s murder and defend his killer, I think a quote from an Instagram post by theholisticmom sums it up perfectly:” Suddenly it doesn’t seem so shocking that the crowd would cheer for the release of Barabbas, a murderer and criminal, while condemning Jesus, the Man who peacefully spoke the truth.”
