The Left’s War on Christians – by Ted Flint 4/6/23

My thanks to WND’S David Kupelian for compiling a list of the Left’s transgressions

Recent events around the country and world have made one thing crystal clear: Christians are now the overt target of the communist Left. Our enemies no longer try to conceal their true intentions as they did in years past. As if the murders of Christian children and adults at a Nashville school by a trans terrorist was not bad enough, the next day Josselyn Berry, press secretary for Democratic Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs posted a meme urging violence against transphobes, i.e., Christians. The image shows a woman with a revolver in each hand, the caption reads: “Us when we see transphobes.”

Minnesota Lt. Governor Peggy Flannagan, also a democrat (as if we couldn’t guess) is pictured online wearing a tee shirt with the message: “Protect trans kids” – with a large dagger between the words.

At Wayne State University in Michigan, Professor Stephen Shaviro posted the following on social media regarding conservative speakers coming to his campus:” I think it is far more admirable to kill a racist, homophobic or transphobic speaker than it is to shout them down.”

The coup de grace was Jane Fonda’s response to Joy Behar during a recent episode of “The View” during which Behar asked the aging actress if there were other ways in which to respond to those pesky pro-lifers besides marching and protesting. Without hesitation Fonda responded:” Murder. “Even fellow liberal Lily Tomlin was taken aback by Fonda’s retort. When the 85-year-old repeated her one-word reply, the host tried to walk it back. But Fonda had revealed the true source of her wrath. Can you imagine the public outcry if a conservative called for killing pro-abortion advocates?

Why would anyone want to kill those who cherish the sanctity of unborn human life? Only someone totally consumed by evil. That is what we’re up against – evil. “We war not against flesh and blood, as St. Paul wrote to the Ephesians, “but rather, against principalities and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm.” Our fight is not with Joe Biden or Nancy Pelosi or Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, or against any institution, but against the Prince of this world.

Need more proof of the Left’s loathing of Christians and Christianity: “It’s becoming increasingly clear that the U.S. is under siege by Christian fundamentalists and traditionalists,” blurts MSNBC’s Ja’han Jones.

The Left-wing Center for American Progress warns: “Christian Nationalism is the ‘Single Biggest Threat’ to America’s Religious Freedom.”

How about this gem from The Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin? “The Republican Party is a movement dedicated to imposing white Christian Nationalism.” I don’t remember seeing that listed in the G.O.P. platform.

The Texas Democracy Foundation’s Cari Marshal seemingly has it all figured out: ‘If Christian Nationalism isn’t essentially domestic terrorism, I don’t know what is.”

Yes, this battle oftentimes manifests itself in the physical world, in politics, in education and in our cultural domain. And it is being waged by political, social, and sexual revolutionaries bent on destroying America by introducing our children to the dark world of transgenderism and gender dysphoria, indoctrinating them in critical race theory and by just plain robbing them of their innocence.

As bad as things are getting here in the states, it is even worse for Christians around the world. The American Center for Law and Justice reports that Christians are being marked for death simply due to their faith. In Nigeria, Islamic jihadists slaughtered more than 4,000 Christians in less than a year. Christian pastors have been beheaded or burned alive. And in Pakistan, Christians can be sentenced with blasphemy and be sentenced to hang with or without evidence.

Why is all this happening? Jesus gave us the answer more than 2,000 years ago: “If the world hates you, know that it has hated Me before it hated you.”
