Who’s War is It?

While many republicans are beating their chests and taking a victory lap over President Trump’s decision to take out Iran’s Supreme Commander and dozens of his top brass, there is a lot of misinformation and disinformation being disseminated about Tehran’s nuclear capability. According to U.S. Intel, Iran does not have nuclear tipped ICBM’s (Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles) pointed at America, as asserted by Fox News’s Mark Levin. Yes, Iran has enriched uranium and could be in the process of acquiring a nuclear capability. But the only nation in that region with nuclear weapons is Israel, whose arsenal ranges anywhere from 90 to 400 warheads.
Granted, Iran is a Police State that terrorizes and slaughters its own citizens, but there are countless nations around the globe that do the same. Do we remove the leaders of every such nation? Why the intense focus on the Middle East? As the leading state sponsor of terrorism, Iran has sleeper cells in countries all over the world; it bankrolls terrorist groups such as Hezbollah and Hamas and is a sworn enemy of America and Israel. But America was not attacked. If Israel is truly threatened by Tehran, it could eradicate the threat overnight, as it has in the past. Israel is believed to possess a nuclear triad of delivery options: by F-15 and F-16 fighters, the best American-made equipment available. The U.S. is and should always be committed to Israel’s security. But our leaders need to act in AMERICA’S self- interest. Benjamin Netanyahu puts Israel first, Trump and Company need to do the same.
There are many who believe that Israel, with a population of 10 million people, has an outsized influence in affecting America’s foreign policy decisions. AIPAC, the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee, is a power Washington lobby that holds sway over much of the Republican Party. It donates millions of dollars to politicians in both parties.
The President did not seek congressional approval for Operation Epic Fury as dictated by the U.S. Constitution. The Administration can call this military operation anything it wants, but when you take out a nation’s leader, his wife, and 40 of his top government officials, that is an act of war.
The toppling of Ayatollah Khamenei is part of a larger geopolitical struggle between China, Russia and the United States. First, it was Maduro in Venezuela, now the Ayatollah, the next nation slated for regime change, the tiny communist country 90 miles off Florida’s coast. Senator Lindsey Graham recently admitted as much when he told Fox News: “Cuba is next,” said Graham. “They are going to fall. This communist dictatorship in Cuba, their days are numbered.”
As of this writing four American servicemen have been killed, several more injured. Kuwait has reportedly accidentally shot down an American fighter jet. The U.S. Consulate in Pakistan was attacked. President Trump has warned there will likely be more U.S. casualties. That is the first rule in every war – innocent people die.
Trump Shines at the SOTU
President Trump’s State of the Union address was like nothing we’ve ever before seen. It was a celebration of America’s greatness, our power and our compassion. And as only Trump can do, he managed not only to give the Republican Party a roadmap to victory in this year’s midterms, but he also divided the room into those who support America’s return to greatness and those who are working for the nation’s demise: “Patriots and Hatetriots,” as one national radio host put it.
A thing of beauty. What other president would call out his opponents they way Trump so masterfully did for not showing the proper respect and decorum for refusing to stand for his non-partisan achievements: “You people should be ashamed of yourselves.” And when Ilan Omar and fellow squad member Rashida Tlaib stepped on their pedigrees by trying to shout down the president, his retort was perfect: “These people are crazy.” Evidently, Trump got too close to the truth when he singled out Minnesota’s multi-billion dollar welfare fraud scheme and its possible connection to state politicians.
As for Omar, the DOJ began investigating her in 2024 regarding her finances, campaign spending, and interactions with a foreign citizen. The investigation reportedly involves her wealth, her husband’s business dealings and potential connections to the welfare fraud scandal.
